LOMBARDI, J.
On October 24, 2018, Plaintiff Michael Becker (Becker) filed a verified complaint (complaint) against Defendant Paulie Graves as Trustee of the Messina L. Amenta Family Trust (Graves) seeking specific performance of a contract for the sale of real estate. Simultaneous with the filing of the complaint, Becker submitted a motion for lis pendens (lis pendens motion). On October 31, 2018, Graves filed Defendant's Special Motion to Dismiss (special motion), an opposition to the lis pendens motion, and a memorandum opposing the lis pendens motion and in support of the special motion. The parties appeared on November 1, 2018, to argue the motions, and on November 14, 2018, this court (Lombardi, J.) issued Order Allowing Special Motion to Dismiss and Denying Motion for Lis Pendens. The court delayed judgment to act on a motion for attorneys fees as required by G. L. c. 184, § 15 (c).
Accordingly, Graves filed a motion for attorney's fees and costs on November 26, 2018. Becker opposed the amount requested on various grounds. After a hearing, this court awarded Graves $18,016.12 in legal fees and costs. Having resolved the matter of fees, this case is ripe for judgment. Therefore, it is
ORDERED and ADJUDGED that the Verified Complaint is hereby DISMISSED with prejudice, and it is further
ORDERED and ADJUDGED that Becker shall pay Graves attorney's fees and costs in the amount of $18,016.12 within 21 days of this judgment, and it is further
ORDERED that this Judgment, issued pursuant to the court's above-referenced orders, disposes of the entire case; the court has adjudicated or dismissed all claims by all parties in this action and has not reserved decision on any claim or defense, and it is further
ORDERED that, except as provided above, no costs, fees, damages, or other amounts are awarded to any party.
SO ORDERED.
