SPEICHER, J.
This action was filed by the plaintiff on July 28, 2020. The Notice of Case Management Conference issued in this action provided in relevant part that counsel for the parties (or parties who are self-represented) "are required to attend the conference," and that the parties are to file a written joint statement "no later than five (5) business days before the Case Management Conference."
Notwithstanding the requirements of the Notice of Case Management Conference, no party filed a written statement, joint or otherwise, and the plaintiff failed to appear at the case management conference, held by videoconference, on September 8, 2020, and did not inform the court that he was unable to appear, nor has the plaintiff filed the required affidavit of service. Accordingly, the plaintiff is ORDERED to file the required statement and affidavit of service indicating he has obtained service on the defendant Quincy Planning Board, and on the non municipal defendant, no later than the close of business on Friday, September 18, 2020, and is further ORDERED to appear and show cause why this action should not be dismissed. Failing to do so, this action will be dismissed or other sanctions will be entered if plaintiff or counsel for the plaintiff fails to file the required joint statement and affidavit of service, or to appear and show such good cause why this action should not be dismissed, at a hearing to be held by videoconference on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 3:00 P.M.
So Ordered.
